| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This article analyzes the force management of the Colombian Army within the framework of sixth-generation warfare, characterized by the convergence of multiple domains, disruptive technologies, and cognitive operations. The research was guided by the central question: What elements should the Colombian Army’s force management include to address threats to national security and defense in a sixth-generation war? A qualitative approach with a descriptive–interpretative design was employed, combining documentary analysis of doctrinal, normative, and academic sources with semi-structured interviews with senior officers and experts in force planning and organization. The findings reveal regulatory fragmentation, the absence of a comprehensive capability-validation system, and limited technological integration, contrasting with comparative models such as the U.S. Army’s Force Management Model. The study concludes that the Colombian Army must transition from a reactive model to an integrated and forward-looking force management system that ensures doctrinal coherence, capability sustainability, and operational superiority in sixth-generation conflict scenarios. | es_ES |
