La asistencia militar como herramienta de consolidación en el Departamento de Nariño

Abstract

Las condiciones periféricas del departamento de Nariño se han visto reflejadas por muchos años por discriminación, pobreza, exclusión y violencia frente a las demás regiones de Colombia, ya que han quedado a merced de diversos factores de inestabilidad que vulneran a sus pobladores. Sin embargo, a pesar que ha sido señalada como la región fronteriza donde existe la presencia de grupos armados organizados, grupos armados organizados residuales y narcotraficantes, es necesario construir una paz real e histórica, lo cual requiere de la presencia integral del Estado en dicho territorio, que garantice los derechos sociales; y para ello, las Fuerzas Militares son esenciales como entidad, haciendo uso de la asistencia militar como esa herramienta para evitar la confrontación con los agentes generadores de alteración o perturbación del orden público con el fin de afrontar y superar los hechos que dan lugar a la grave alteración de la seguridad y la convivencia.
