| dc.description | El presente artículo analiza desde una perspectiva teórica el impacto de la información en el diseño y ejecución de las políticas de seguridad, haciendo hincapié en la situación de México en los últimos años. A efectos de mostrar un panorama más amplio, se enuncian algunos ejemplos internacionales que muestran que la información presentada, a través de los medios de comunicación no puede ser considerada como un fenómeno aislado, sino que ha llegado a convertirse un componente de peso de la toma de decisiones en materia de seguridad.
Para este fin, se propone que las partes involucradas, Estado y medios de comunicación consideren en todo momento que la i nformación en materia de seguridad puede ser parte de operaciones de información, y así aminorar los riesgos de revelar secretos que desvíen las políticas de seguridad, sin menoscabar el derecho a la libertad de expresión y el derecho a la información. | es-ES |
