dc.description.abstractLa necesidad de mejorar la toma de decisiones informadas y efectivas para el desarrollo de operaciones militares aéreas en Colombia requiere mejoramiento constante. La complejidad del terreno, fenómenos meteorológicos, escases de recursos, enemigo circundante y el deber de soportar y asesorar a las tripulaciones en cumplimiento de la misión institucional son relevantes. Por tanto, se propone la adquisición o desarrollo de sistemas de control que potencialicen la toma de decisiones en estos escenarios. A partir de un enfoque cualitativo basado en la revisión documental y entrevista a expertos, se analizan sistemas, capacidades militares/comerciales y operaciones aéreas en Colombia y otros casos de estudio, incluyendo el dominio espacial. El resultado del estudio identifica debilidades como la obsolescencia de equipos y vulnerabilidades ante nuevas amenazas, destacando la importancia de nuevas tecnologías y un enfoque integral que combine tecnología, capacitación y cooperación para fortalecer la toma de decisiones.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe need to improve informed and effective decision-making for the development of air military operations in Colombia requires constant improvement. The complexity of the terrain, meteorological phenomena, resource scarcity, surrounding enemy, and the duty to support and advise crews in fulfilling the institutional mission are relevant. Therefore, the acquisition or development of control systems that enhance decision-making in these scenarios is proposed. Using a qualitative approach based on documentary review and expert interviews, systems, military/commercial capabilities, and air operations in Colombia and other case studies, including the space domain, are analyzed. The results of the study identify weaknesses such as equipment obsolescence and vulnerabilities to new threats, highlighting the importance of new technologies and a comprehensive approach that combines technology, training, and cooperation to strengthen decision-making.es_ES
