dc.descriptionThe transformation of the Colombian Navy's logistics structure constitutes a long-term historical journey, influenced by regulatory, doctrinal, and strategic changes in the context of national defense. This article analyzes the path that led to the creation of Naval Base No. 6 “ARC Bogotá” (BNL06), based on a critical review of official sources. The article identifies the regulatory milestones since Decree 1512 of 2000, the organizational limitations detected in the first decade of the 21st century, and the conditions that necessitated an institutional reconfiguration in 2016. The research concludes that the consolidation of this naval base constitutes a historic response consistent with the naval logistics modernization process, strengthening the Naval Force's sustainability capabilities and national maritime projection.en-US
dc.descriptionLa transformación de la estructura logística de la Armada Nacional de Colombia constituye un recorrido histórico de largo aliento, influenciado por cambios normativos, doctrinales y estratégicos en el contexto de la defensa nacional. Este artículo analiza la trayectoria que condujo a la creación de la Base Naval n.º 6 “ARC Bogotá” (BNL06), a partir de la revisión crítica de fuentes oficiales. Se identifican los hitos normativos desde el Decreto 1512 de 2000, las limitaciones organizativas detectadas en la primera década del siglo XXI y las condiciones que hicieron necesaria una reconfiguración institucional en 2016. La investigación concluye que la consolidación de dicha base naval constituye una respuesta histórica coherente con el proceso de modernización de la logística naval, fortaleciendo las capacidades de sostenibilidad de la Fuerza Naval y la proyección marítima nacional.es-ES
